Business Awards 2024 - Rules for Entrants
- The Organisers of the Richmond Business Excellence Awards 2024 are the Original Richmond Business and Tourism Association and The Company of Mercers, Grocers and Haberdashers of Richmond, Yorkshire
- The awards are free to enter and are open to any actively trading business or organisation that is a member of the Original Richmond Business and Tourism Association (ORBTA) or that trades in the DL10 area, whether they are a member of ORBTA or not
- Entrants must be aged 18 or over
- Applicants must be authorised to enter their business or staff member into these awards
- The closing date for entries is midnight on Saturday 9th March 2024
- Entry into more than one category is allowed
- All entries must be submitted through the online entry form, completed in full and must be accompanied by a logo and two photographs that best show your business (these must either be free of copyright or have the photographer’s permission)
- All entries that meet all of the terms and conditions will be acknowledged on receipt
- Please ensure the business name is stated on your entry form as you would like to see it appear on an engraved award should you become a winner
- These Business Awards entries will be judged by a panel selected by the Organisers
- Incomplete entries will not be judged
- The judges may decline to make any award in any category if in their opinion there are insufficient entries of a winning standard
- The judges will select finalists from each category against the criteria set out on the website. Finalists will be notified in writing. A full list of finalists will also be announced on the website and in the local press by Monday 25th March 2024
- There will be one award winner selected from the finalists in each category. Winners will be announced at the awards event
- The award finalists will each receive a certificate with overall winners each receiving a trophy
- Details of the winners will be published online at www.originalrichmond.co.uk
- By entering this competition you agree to:
- Allow us to use the information and material you supply for promotional purposes by the two organising bodies
- Agree to pre and post competition publicity
- Any information gathered during this awards process will be held for up to one month after the event and then permanently removed
- Winners will be required to take part in post-event publicity and consent to their name and photograph being used for such purposes.
- Winners may publicise their award provided that the year in which it was won is stated. The Organisers licence any winner to use the original Richmond Business and Tourism Association logo to do this.
- The judges’ decision is final and no further correspondence will be entered into.
- By entering these Awards, the entrant will be deemed to have read and understood these terms and conditions and to be bound by them. The terms and conditions include any instructions set out with the Entry Form.
