This year’s Original Richmond Business and Tourism Association’s (ORBTA) Loyalty Card promotion has attracted more entries than usual. The draw has now taken place to find the winners of the eighteen prizes, given by ORBTA member businesses and there are some very happy winners!
The promotion encourages people to shop in and around Richmond and is becoming ever more popular with businesses and shoppers alike.
Jacqui Walker, winner of a pair of Swarovski earrings from Goosewing Gallery said, “I think the Loyalty card promotion is brilliant! It takes me into shops that I have never been in before. Richmond is a lovely place to shop and I plan to do all my Christmas shopping here once Lockdown is ended and I know all my friends have similar plans for buying their Christmas present in Richmond”.
Jo Foster of Kiss the Moon, “Spending money within the town keeps money in our community and helps local businesses to thrive. Now more than ever before small businesses need a helping hand so schemes like this are always welcome.”

The Loyalty Card is one of the activities undertaken by ORBTA to help keep a focus on the town and encourage local people and visitors to enjoy all that is on offer. With almost 110 members, the Association is very active and is behind other initiatives, including organising Celebrate Richmond 950, which next year honours 950 years since Richmond Castle and the town were born.
