After last year’s very successful event, the Magic Tenner returns to Richmond from 1st- 16th March.

In a campaign organised by Totally Locally, businesses across Richmond will once again be offering fantastic £10 deals to encourage shoppers to give a boost to the local economy.

The powerful message behind the initiative is that for every £10 spent in an independent business, up to £50 goes back into the local economy. This is because most independent businesses work in partnership with many others, including makers, growers, suppliers, accountants, electricians, window cleaners and so on. Buying online or at the big national chains and supermarkets has a much smaller impact, as far less money stays in the local economy.

Participants in the Magic Tenner so far include: ArtWyse Designs, Beauty Rooms & Aesthetic Clinic, Dot’s Place, Flickering Thoughts / Garden Gifts, Goosewing Studios, Pink Sundays, Richmond Information Centre, Richmondshire Landscape Trust, Tasty Macs and Tunstall Meat Company.
