Lesley Duncan of Capelli Hairdressing on Castle Hill has enjoyed a double celebration this week with her 65th birthday on Tuesday and her anniversary of 50 years since she started hairdressing. She has worked during this time mainly in Richmond at various salons.
Lesley and her sister, Jackie Pitman, have run Capellis together for 28-years. We strongly suspect that they also deserve an accolade for being members of the Original Richmond Business and Tourism Association for longer than any other of our members - please step forward if anyone has been a member for longer than what I believe is at least 28 years.
Jackie and her husband and daughter planned a special day for Lesley today and Richmond's Mayor, Councillor Lorraine Hodgson presented Lesley with a beautiful bouquet of flowers to celebrate the occasion.
Congratulations from all of your friends and colleagues in the Business Association and thank you for running your successful business in Richmond for so long and being part of the business community and the Association for many, many years.
